Rupnagar, 20th February 2024: Pioneering a substantial endeavor for communal well-being, 108 Ambulance, a preeminent healthcare service provider in Punjab, inaugurated a momentous First Responder Program at Govt. Girls Sr. Sec. School, Sri Anandpur Sahib, Rupnagar today.

The principal aim of this initiative is to endow youngsters with an indispensable reservoir of knowledge, enabling them to adeptly manage medical crises and extend hands-on aid. Adept Counsel and Practical Tutelage
Guided by Mr. Jaswinder Singh, a First Responder Program (FRP) trainer affiliated with Ziqitza Healthcare, the program encompassed fundamental first aid protocols for diverse scenarios, including CPR, cardiac incidents, hemorrhaging, fractures, serpent bites, fainting, asphyxiation, hypoglycemia, and beyond. The interactive session featured a hands-on exhibition, enriching students’ comprehension of emergency case administration.

The session observed enthusiastic involvement, with a surplus of one hundred faculty and students actively participating. Amandeep Singh, the Cluster Manager, Deepak Kumar, the Marketing Manager, and Meena Devi, a healthcare vocational trainer, contributed their presence, underscoring the program’s significance.

Sharing insights into the program’s objective, Mr. Manish Batra, the Project Head of Ziqitza Healthcare, articulated, “Our primary objective in orchestrating this event within the school confines was to edify students about the importance of immediate first aid in mitigating injury severity. In the contemporary milieu, attentiveness to first aid during medical crises is imperative. We envision our program as a supportive gesture, harnessing the inner joy derived when one’s assistance metamorphoses into a life-saving intervention for another.
