C.B. Satpathy, a renowned legal expert and a well-known social worker from Orissa, released the first volume of the Punjabi translation of Shri Guru Bhagwat, a great epic composed by him in Odia, at Sai Ka Aangan in Gurgaon. Drs. Ranjit Singh and Jasvinder Kaur Bindra have translated the work into Punjabi. The work was completed with the assistance of Smt. Harjit Chhabra and Smt. Geetika Rishiraj. Bindra has translated Shri Guru Bhagwat into Odia. The Odia version of the epic, which contains more than thirty-four thousand verses, has been published in eight volumes. The epic has been translated into English and Hindi, as well as into a variety of Indian languages such as Sanskrit, Bengali, Assamese, Telugu, Tamil, Gujarati, Sindhi, Kashmiri, Bhojpuri, Kannada, and Marathi.

The Shri Guru Bhagwat Volume I composed by Dr. Satpathyji and originally released on audio CD by Times Music in 2015 has already been released on audio CD again. Ms. Harshdeep Kaur’s performance has been voiced for the verses. On this day, Ms. Monisha Sharma and the children of Sai Ka Aangan sang passages from Guru Bhagwat in Punjabi. Dr. Satpathyji mentioned that Shri Sainath and other Sadgurus lived simply after the launch of his book. He emphasised that simplicity leads to development.
