Chandigarh: During the National Technology Week 2023, held from 11th to 14th May at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi, Arryan Madhu Chitkara, an exceptional 12th-grade student from Chitkara International School, showcased his groundbreaking project, “The Communicator Mask.” The event, themed “School to Startup – igniting young minds to innovate,” was inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and featured a remarkable exhibition of projects worth over Rs. 5800 crore.
Among the assembly of young innovators at this prestigious event, Arryan presented “The Communicator Mask,” designed to overcome communication barriers caused by masks, which particularly affected individuals with hearing disorders during the Covid-19 pandemic. Demonstrating his invention in the presence of Dr. Jitendra Singh, the Minister of State for Science and Technology and Earth Sciences, Arryan utilized advanced technology to improve voice clarity while ensuring speaker safety and protection.
Both at the program and within his school, Arryan’s creation, “The Communicator Mask,” garnered genuine appreciation, solidifying his reputation as a promising young talent in the technology field. It is noteworthy that Arryan has already obtained a patent for his invention from the Intellectual Property India, further highlighting the recognition and value of his remarkable achievement.
Dr. Niyati Chitkara, the Director of Chitkara International School in Chandigarh and Panchkula, expressed her immense joy and pride regarding the outstanding achievement of Arryan Madhu Chitkara in showcasing “The Communicator Mask” at National Technology Week 2023.
