Centre responds to CM Arvind Kejriwal’s appeal, sends fresh batch of oxygen supply to top Delhi hospitals. It is reliably learnt that the Oxygen Tanks have reached destination from the evening of 20 April. This gesture is welcomed by various groups & agencies active in the field to keep Covid 19 under control. Fresh alerts have also bee issued by the agencies concerned.
These oxygen containers reached Delhi health centers late on Tuesday (April 20) after the city reported it had only hours of oxygen supply left. An authorities at Guru Tegh Bahadur Medical facility verified that a vehicle bring oxygen from a company reached them around 1:30 am.
A day after Delhi health centers reported an intense lack of oxygen supply in the high court as well as politicians consisting of Chief minister Arvind Kejriwal and also Manish Sisodia appealed the Centre to provide oxygen cylindrical tubes to the COVID health centers in the nationwide resources, over 4500 cubic metres of oxygen were provided by an exclusive supplier and also 6000 cubic meters by Inox Air to Sri Ganga Ram Medical facility in the nationwide funding. Furthermore, 10 lots of oxygen was provided to LNJP Healthcare facility too.
