Aarav Veer Arya, a student of St. Stephen’s School, has brought laurels to Chandigarh and the country by winning a silver medal in the NCERT National Yoga Olympiad held in Bhopal last day. A total of 576 contestants were involved in this yoga competition. In a meeting, Aarav Veer Arya told that he had started yoga when he was in second class. In 2019, when he went to Ranchi to participate in the National for the first time, his enthusiasm increased manifold. After that he became completely devoted to yoga. Aarav Veer has won many medals for his school.
He told that with the encouragement and inspiration of the school’s yoga teacher and coach Sarita Maurya, he has reached this point today. Aarav Veer Arya said that this would not have been possible without the support of school principal Lewis Lopez, mother Shweta Arya and father Arya Veer Rinku, who are also involved in the film production line. Now his aim is to win the gold medal by participating in the International Yoga Competition.
