Due to the sudden rise of Covid Cases and death fatalities in the State, The Haryana government on Sunday put the state under a week-long full lockdown beginning tomorrow to suppress the fatal 2nd wave of the COVID-19 pandemic brushing up the nation. The announcement was made by Health Minister Anil Vij.
Mr Vij tweeted that “Beginning 3rd May there will be a completed 7 day lockdown in the whole state”.

The state recorded 13,588 fresh infections the other day, in addition to 125 fatalities. This took the state’s total cases lots to 5,01,566 and also 4,341 casualties. The total matter went across the 5 lakh-mark on Saturday.
