Chandigarh Press Club has partnered with FDDI (Footwear Design and Development Institute), an esteemed institute under the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, for a unique pilot project. FDDI has designed and manufactured customized shoes for the club staff based on their specific job requirements. The shoes were meticulously crafted by FDDI students at their Banur campus.
At a special event held within the club premises, the FDDI team unveiled these specially designed shoes to the Chandigarh Press Club staff. The club’s Governing Council and senior members were in attendance, making the occasion even more remarkable.
Expressing gratitude for the collaboration, Pragya Singh, Executive Director of FDDI, Banur, acknowledged the honor of working with Chandigarh Press Club. She emphasized how this project provided invaluable exposure to FDDI students, allowing them to showcase their creativity and skills in a practical setting. FDDI extends their heartfelt appreciation to Chandigarh Press Club for their support and confidence in their students.
