Seeing the paucity of good film studios and facilities in Punjab, the talented women entrepreneur of the region, Designer Nainaa Kukreja with the support of her husband has built a state-of-the-art film studio in Tepla area of Banur near Zirakpur, named NK studio.
The energetic Managing Director of the studio, Nainaa Kukreja told the media during a press conference that NK Studio is the result of their years of hard work and fruitful efforts, which is in front of everyone today. He said that this studio, spread over four acres, has an air-conditioned shooting shed of 8500 square feet, in which all modern facilities have been provided. Apart from this, 29 different beautiful locations have also been prepared for shooting which will attract filmmakers.
Nainaa Kukreja proudly said that with the construction of this grand studio on the lines of Mumbai, now Punjabi, Himachali Haryanvi filmmaker-directors will no longer need to travel to Mumbai to shoot films and shoot music videos etc. All facilities will be available to them in one campus.
Nainaa Kukreja is an interior designer by profession and has designed this studio in collaboration with director and production designer Rajesh Latkar. The film city has a bungalow, school, swimming pool, hospital, canteen, roof top restaurant, make-up room and a large open space that can be customized during the shoot. This studio is about 15-20 km from Zirakpur – Mohali. It is situated within a radius of 4 km from where it is very convenient to reach.
