-Ludhiana, 28 January 2025: The 108 Ambulance service further reinforced its dedication to community health and emergency preparedness by conducting a First Responder Program (FRP) at the HDFC Bank, Kalsi Nagar Branch, Dholewal Chowk, Ludhiana. With a total of 35 staff attending, the workshop was aimed towards training staff with vital life-saving skills and emergency response knowledge.
Conducted by FRP Trainer Jaswinder Singh and supported by the Operation Manager Jagdeep Singh, the workshop consisted of hands-on training segments and live demonstration sessions, arming participants with the knowledge and confidence to act decisively in critical situations. The session also emphasized the importance of early intervention, encouraging participants to be effective first responders who could be counted on to step up in their communities.

The support of HDFC Bank management was complete and made the program successful.
The Project Head of 108 Ambulance Manish Batra appreciated the initiative and stated, “Our aim is not only to provide emergency services but also educate and empower people. Programs such as the First Responder Program are an essential part of building a network of trained people who will be prepared to step in do what is necessary to save lives when every second counts.”
