Jalandhar : Verinder Singh Virdi
Commanding Officer Col. NPS Toor, Adm Officer Major Pratima ANO, Lt. Sonia Mahendru, SM DS Yelukoti from 2PB (G) BN and Commanding Officer Col. Parveen Adm Officer Lt. Col Sbhash Dhar, SM Harbhajan from 2PB (B) BN along with 20 members from PI Staff payed a tribute to Kargil War heroes by observing a 2 minutes silence, as a mark of respect for the fallen heroes.
They also commemorate the sacrifices made by soldiers in the war. Later the Firing Range of Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya, Jalandhar was used for Shooting Practice by PI Staff of both units for upcoming Annual Adm inspection.
Principal Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen paid her tribute to Kargil heroes and said that we are safe at our places only because of soliders. We should feel proud on them.
