Following closely, Inderjeet Singh’s team with Veerpal as the co-driver came second; while Swaijeet Brar and Ramjanam who were in car number 29 took the third position. Cash prizes and trophies were presented to these winners for their outstanding performances during this rally.
Responsiveness to Society
This rally called ‘Humsafar,’ was not about racing only but it aimed at informing about how people can donate eyes to those blind of cornea. While speaking during the event, Anil Mudgal a co-founder of Arushi India said that the latter aimed at canvassing for an essential cause thereby demonstrating social responsibility which is embedded in community well-being.
Significant Significance Of Hope And Resilience
For example, there were fifty cars featuring a sighted driver and a blind child. As such, they depicted hope, resilience and human spirit overcoming adversities. Among those who graced this occasion included Brigadier Vikram Goswami (Retd.), Col Karaminder Singh (Retd), Maj D P Singh known as the ‘Blade Runner’ and H S Gujral (IFS Retd.) Dharminder Sharma (IFS), Garima Singh.
