After Winning against England by 10 Runs in their final Group 1 Match but still they missed the chance of qualifying for the World Cup T20 Semifinal due to net run rate issues. After Batting First Rassie van der Dussen and Aiden Markram played very well and guided South Africa to par score of 189 for 2.
For Going on to Semis South Africa had to Restrict England to 131 to seal their Semifinal spot ahead of Australia but they couldnt because England scored 179 for eight and ended their hope.
