Insecticides (India) Limited (IIL), a prominent player in the field of crop protection and nutrition, has launched Mission, an innovative insecticide designed to combat various lepidopteran pests in crops such as paddy, sugarcane, soybean, and vegetables. This cutting-edge solution, available in granule and liquid formulations, boasts a distinctive mode of action that effectively tackles pest resistance to other insecticides. Moreover, Mission’s formulation ensures the safety of beneficial insects vital to crop health, making it an exceptional choice that enhances productivity for farmers.

Previously imported, Mission is now being manufactured within India as part of IIL’s “Make in India” initiative, benefiting small and marginal farmers nationwide. As a “Green” category insecticide, it combines contact and systemic action, effectively controlling pests upon ingestion. Notably, Mission provides excellent control against stem borers and leaf folders, two major pests in paddy cultivation.

Mr. Rajesh Aggarwal, Managing Director of IIL, expressed his satisfaction with the launch of Mission as part of the company’s Make In India Initiative, joining the ranks of Torry, Green Label, Dominant, and Stunner. Emphasizing its advanced technology and versatility across various crops, he assured farmers of its efficacy in combating lepidopteran pests, promoting robust crop health, and yielding superior harvests. With enthusiasm, Mr. Sanjay Vats, Vice President of IIL, highlighted the significance of extending the benefits of Mission to small and marginal farmers, anticipating a positive response from the Punjab and Haryana markets. He also acknowledged the tireless efforts of the dedicated R&D team in developing this remarkable product.
