-Chandigarh, December 14, 2024: Against the backdrop of a vibrant, sunny winter morning, Kundan International School came alive with energy and enthusiasm as it celebrated its grand Annual Athletic Meet 2024. The event was held over two exciting days, with December 12 dedicated to students from Nursery to Grade V and December 13 for students from Grades VI to XII.
Principal Mrs. Yogesh Jadli extended a warm welcome to the esteemed guests and highlighted the achievements of students who represented UT, state, and national levels in various games. Her address set the perfect tone for the event, reflecting the school’s commitment to excellence.
The school was honoured to host two distinguished chief guests who brought inspiration and motivation to the event. Ms. Deepa, an International Handball legend, shared her journey of determination and triumph, leaving students inspired and motivated. Dr. Amit Bhattacharjee, a celebrated mentor and athlete who represented India in various championships and won numerous medals, is also the visionary behind India’s first individual Olympic gold medalist, Padma Bhushan Shri Abhinav Bindra. He graced the event with his inspiring presence.
The event was further elevated by the presence of the President of the School Managing Committee and trustee, Sh. Rajesh Tuteja (Retd. IRS, 1987 batch), whose decades of exemplary service and leadership added a touch of gravitas. His inspiring words highlighted the transformative power of sports in shaping character and resilience.

Adding to the electrifying start, the school’s music band captivated the audience with a melodic symphony that resonated with pride and unity. The NCC cadets of the 2nd Battalion followed, showcasing their impeccable discipline and skill in a powerful display. The welcome dance, a kaleidoscope of colors and culture, set the tone for a day filled with creativity and energy.
The rhythmic sway of the hula hoops drill, the intensity of tug-of-war, the synchronized march past, and adrenaline-pumping races kept the audience enthralled. Fun-filled events like the Lemon and Spoon Race, Three-Legged Race, and Book Balance Race added an extra layer of excitement and cheer. Moments of mindfulness were celebrated with inspiring yoga demonstrations, while awe-inspiring pyramid formations stood as a testament to strength, balance, and unity.
Across both days, the campus buzzed with energy as students showcased their talents and sportsmanship. From the youngest learners to the senior-most students, each participant
demonstrated the values of dedication, teamwork, and determination, making the Annual Athletic Meet 2024 a grand celebration of excellence.
