Lubana comes from a non-political middle class family, and he started his political career from Khalsa College in Chandigarh.
Eversince, he has climbed many stairs owing to his hardwork, commitment and never give-up attitude.
All through these years, he has Discharged many duties at various Positions such as that of the Zila Parishad member from Kishangarh, Chandigarh. He Joined SOPU in the year 2011 to become its victorious president in the year 2012. From 2011 to 2019, his career in Panjab University was ever-rising. He Joined NSUI in 2013 and till 2019 he played a pivotal role in winning 4 elections for the organisation. He was also appointed as the the National Coordinator of NSUI and Secretary of Haryana Youth Congress.
NSUI appointed him as the National Chairperson, Social Media department in 2019 under the presidentship of Neeraj Kundan. Over 2 years span, he contributed significantly and later decided to step down and work for the people of chandigarh and hence, decided to contest the elections.
In the first wave of COVID-19 pandemic, he set up facilities to help workers and labourers with free food and shelter. During the second wave of COVID-19 pandemic in India, he became one of the most visible help provider in chandigarh by facilitating emergency supplies of essential drugs and oxygen. He coordinated a dedicated group of Youth Congress(CYC) volunteers in Chandigarh for COVID-19 relief. Right from providing Oxygen cylinder to blood plasma he responded to as many calls possible.
