A cultural event of singing held at Tagore Theatre, Mini Auditorium, Chandigarh recently in which more than 35 contestants participated and showed their talent by singing different songs of filmy, classical etc. An audition for the talent hunt show organized on 16th July, 2023 in which about 85 participants from Punjab, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh and Chandigarh have participated. On the basis of their audition, selection of 35 candidates have been finalized and they were given an opportunity for final show.
The event organized by Rudraksh Entertainment in association with Citi Entertainment Network (Regd) and Lok Kala & Cultural Society. Under the guidance of Mr. Sanjay Bhatt, the team of organizers includes Mr. Sumer Singh, Mr. Sunil Bhatt, Mr. Vijay Kumar, Ms. Taruna, Ms. Meera, Ms. Meena Bhatt, Mr. Aryaman Bhatt, Ms. Himanshi Bhardwaj, Mr. Surinder Kumar, Mr. Rahul and Mr. Pawan
The panel of judges Mr. Pardeep Sharma who run an academy of singing Sur Bharti in Panchkula for the last 25 years and Mr. Michelangelo Francis, Head of Department of Music, Fine Arts at St. John’s High School, Chandigarh gave their judgement on the basis of performance for junior and senior category of participants. The first prize given to junior category Ns. Ananya Dutt and senior category Ms. Sonika Patiyal. The first runner up for both the category, Mr. Likhit Vishwakarna (Jr. Category) and Ms.Upasna (Sr. Category) and the 2nd runner up Ms. Harjot Kaur (jr. category) and Mr. Harbaksh Singh (sr. category) declared. Trohies and certificate were distributed alongwith gifts from the sponsorers – Lubin Games, Eswar Therapeutics, Tyhoo tea, Taqila Restro, Jamuna music, Anmol Production and Fateh Photowala also given to each participant.
The chairman of Rudraksh Entertainment, Mrs. Sharwani said the talent hunt show organized in memory of her husband Late Shri B.L. Bhatt, a renowned Gazal Singer cum accordion Player and next programme of Family Games Show and Musical Antakshri singing shall be conducted. There is also planning to start a cultural foundation in his memory for charity purposes.
