Jalandhar: Verinder Singh Virdi
The NSS Volunteers of Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya, Jalandhar started their day with full energy and recital of DAV Gaan and Hum Honge Kamyaab. The volunteers shared their experiences of the camp and said that we should be good citizens of the nation and respect our parents. Camp Coordinator Mrs. Veena Arora briefed the students about the day’s activities. The volunteers visited village Gakhal under COVID Awareness Campaign. General Secretary Block Samiti Gakhal Sh. Kulwinder Gakhal, President, Sh. Surinder Singh and Gurdwara Pradhan welcomed the NSS Unit and briefed them about the village. Mrs. Veena Arora honoured them with planters. The volunteers were divided into groups and these groups collected the data from approximately 150 houses. Principal Dr. Ajay Sareen appreciated this work of NSS Volunteers and NSS Programme Officers and encouraged them to serve the country through these social welfare works. Sh. Surinder Singh thanked Principal Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen for conducting such camps in their village.
