-Chandigarh, 09th November 2024: Day two of PECFEST 2024 at Punjab Engineering College (Deemed to be University), Chandigarh showcased a lineup of exhilarating technical events, drawing participants and audiences eager to tackle inventive engineering challenges. Day 1 was filled with the Cultural Evening of Glitterati and Bhangra Theque.
Highlights included Escape Gravity, a space-themed escape room, and Aquajet, a water-propelled rocket competition that launched innovation sky-high. The event Cadventure tested CAD skills, while Archi-Tek challenged students to construct arches capable of bearing heavy loads. Robotics took the spotlight in Mesmerize, where robots navigated intricate obstacle courses, and the Spaghetti Bridge Competition saw pasta structures support impressive weights.
Spectators were thrilled by aerial displays at Aerobatics with RC planes, while Binary Geeks tested coding abilities in a unique blind-coding format. Electro Quest and Zonal Code Decode further engaged tech enthusiasts in problem-solving and coding battles.
Also on Day 2 Star Night, famous Bollywood singer Asees Kaur is going to perform live on musical beats. With creativity and competition at the forefront, PECFEST 2024 continues to inspire the next generation of engineers and innovators.
