Punjab Engineering College, Chandigarh, joined hands with various cultural clubs and PECFEST to present an electrifying Open Mic event that unveiled the vibrant cultural talents of their students. Held at the Open-Air Theatre (OAT) on October 13, 2023, Open Mic 2023 was a remarkable showcase of youthful creativity.
Students from diverse academic backgrounds, with a noticeable presence of first-year students, stepped up to the spotlight to display their extraordinary talents. The evening came alive with high-spirited Bhangra performances, captivating musical renditions by the Music Club, soul-stirring poems and Shayari presented by the Punjabi, Hindi, and English Editorial Boards, enthralling dance performances, compelling theatrical plays by DRAMS, and side-splitting comedy shows.
The event was skillfully coordinated under the guidance of Dr. D. R. Prajapati, Dean Student Affairs (DSA), and Dr. Puneet Chawla, Associate Dean Student Affairs (ADSA).
Open Mic 2023 attracted a massive audience, and the exuberant performances received thunderous applause, showcasing the abundance of talent within PEC. Both students and attendees relished the evening, making it an unforgettable experience.
