After officially launching at press club, last week…Chefs today formally introduced “Punjabi Biryani” to public presence at DT mall.
A Cooking Contest “Chandigarh Biryani COOK OFF was held by/at DLF City Center Mall to mark the occassion, to ceremoniusly observing the ’cause, where a large no.of contestants participated with great enthusiasm.
The Chefs Trio Chef Harshbir Singh, Chef Jagmeet Singh and Chef Harshdeep Chanana: who was being represented by Chef Amrinder Kochhar, were present as Jury nembers along with renowned cookery expert /judge, author & nutritionist Sarita khurana who gave out the prizes to winners as Chief Guest.
Savita was adjudged the “Biryani Maestro” of the event along with other ‘four runners up and special prize winners. Besides winners, all the participants were suitably rewarded by Punjab Agro’ s FIVE RIVERS ‘the official sponsors of Chef’s Punjabi Biryani Initiative.
Biryani by chefs was presented to tasting for all the participants and other shoppers. At the end Chefs gave various tips to participants about food and cooking of biryani in particular.
