Who was Guru Teg Bahadur
- Guru Teg Bahadur Ji was the youngest son of the sixth Sikh Guru Hargobind Rai . Guru Hargobind Rai was blessed with one daughter & five sons- Baba Gurditta, Suraj Mal, Ani Rai, Atal Rai, and Tyaga Mal.
- Tyaga Mal was born in Amritsar on 1April 1621 . He came to be known as Teg Bahadur(Mighty of Sword) , name given to him by Guru Hargobind Rai after he showed his courage in a battle against the Mughals.
- Guru Teg Bahadur was trained in archery and horsemanship. On 3rd Feb 1633 Teg Bahadur was married to Mata Gujri.
