Mohali, February 3: Congress Mohali nominee Balbir Sidhu’s election campaign got a shot in the arm today when social worker Balwinder Kumbra along with his hundreds of supporters pledged support to Sidhu in the Punjab’s upcoming Assembly Poll on February 20.
Speaking during the occasion, Kumbra said that after discussions with our supporters and villagers we have decided to support Balbir Sidhu. He urged Mohali voters to support Sidhu to ensure his fourth straight win.
He further said that he had remained in the AAP party from 2017 to 2017. During that period three cases were registered against him and his family. When AAP had no care for its leader and workers the question of remaining in such a party didn’t arise.
He also accused the AAP party of selling tickets for money.
Balbir Sidhu said that Balwinder is our old fellow . It’s a homecoming for him to rejoin his old brothers. Talking about the increasing support base of Congress in Mohali with each passing day, Sidhu said that this is just a beginning. In coming days Congress support base would increase manifold and AAP party would be in tatters.
Lashing out on opposition, he said that you cannot make people fool by making hollow promises and talking baseless things. People now are well aware of everything and they cannot be made fools, he maintained.
