Chandigarh: Chandigarh boys Chaitanya Aggarwal (AIR 8), Pratham Garg (AIR 20) and Khushang (AIR 30) brought laurels to the city by excelling in Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Advanced 2021. The students are regular classroom students of Sri Chaitanya Institute, Sector 34 here.
Sri Chaitanya Team has given AIR 1 in JEE advanced 2017 & 2018. This year again, Sri Chaitanya has proved once again by getting top ranks from Tricity.
Chaitanya Aggarwal secured All India Rank- 8 (AIR-8), with a score of 324 out of 360 in JEE Advanced & AIR-62 in JEE MAIN 2021. Pratham Garg secured All India Rank-20 (AIR-20), with a score of 318 out of 360 in JEE Advanced. Khushang secured All India Rank 30 (AIR-30), with a score of 307 out of 360 in JEE Advanced.
Every year Sri Chaitanya Chandigarh gives top ranks in top 10 since its inception.
While sharing his success mantra, Chaitanya Aggarwal said, “I joined Sri Chaitanya with IIT as a dream. Consistency is the key to success. Whatever you study, revise it at regular intervals. If you focus well, your study hours won’t really matter. Have faith in your teachers and their guidance, and always ensure that your knowledge is conceptually sound.”
He said, “I gave weekly tests of Sri Chaitanya on a regular basis during lockdown, which helped me to do self-analysis and improve my performance.”
Pratham Garg, when asked about his success mantra said, “JEE is a mix of hard work & smart work”.
Commenting on Chaitanya’s success, his father, Mr. Sanjeev Gupta who is into real estate business & mother Mrs. Nisha Singla, senior nursing officer at PGIMER Chandigarh, said, “Our son has made us proud again. His hardwork has finally paid off and we are very happy.”
Pratham’s father, who is a Businessman by profession & Mother Bank Manager at Punjab National Bank said, “As parents we are feeling elated and proud of our son who has fulfilled our dreams by giving his best with blessings of his grandparents and teachers. We are extremely thankful to Sri Chaitanya teachers who continued their hard work during pandemic”. “I was sure that my son’s hard work would make him succeed one day. May God fulfill all his desires”.

Pratham is Kishore Vaigyanika Protsahan Yojana (KVPY) Scholar, National Talent Search Examination (NTSE) Scholar, Indian Olympiad Qualifier In Chemistry (IOQC), Indian Olympiad Qualifier In Physics (IOQP).
Khushang has qualified National standard examination of Chemistry (NSEC), Has also qualified Indian national Chemistry Olympiad (INCHO), & attended Oriental cum selection camp (OCSC) Regional Mathematical Olympiad (RMO) Scholar, Kishore Vaigyanika Protsahan Yojana (KVPY) Scholar, attended International Mathematical Olympiad Training Camp (IMOTC)
Mrinal Singh, Centre Director of Sri Chaitanya Chandigarh lauded the students for their excellent performance.
