On September 5th, the Doaba Group of Colleges celebrated Teacher’s Day with great enthusiasm and zeal, honoring the dedication and hard work of its teaching staff. The event, held at the college auditorium, brought together director principals, teachers, and staff members to pay tribute to the selfless efforts of their teachers.
The event’s highlight was a poignant poetry recitation by Ms. Vijay Mehra from the B.Ed. department. Cultural performances by teachers added to the festive atmosphere, making it a memorable day for all. Hilarious performances by Mr. Yasir Ahmed and a soulful Kashmiri song by Mr. Umar Gul, both from the DBS department, filled the auditorium with joy and applause.
Various joyful games were played among teachers, and gifts were presented to teachers for their outstanding performance in games.
In his address, Mr. Aatish Kumar, Assistant Professor from the DIET department, emphasized the importance of teachers in shaping young minds and thanked them for their tireless efforts. The celebration was a testament to the institution’s commitment to recognizing and appreciating the vital role of teachers in society.
