Guri Mangat, an energetic music video and filmmaker, is a clear example of this. Over the years, Guri Mangat has promoted and provided a platform to many budding young singers, artists and video models from Punjab.
The affable filmmaker revealed during a meeting in Mohali that he hails from Begowal, a small town in Payal tehsil of Ludhiana. He had an affinity for music since childhood, which gradually turned into a passion.
Guri Mangat said that after graduating from a government college in Ludhiana district, he entered the Punjabi music industry to try his luck. Hard work and good thinking soon paved the way for him. According to Guri Mangat, he always wants to work out of the box. Many times he has to face difficulties on the way but he does not lose courage.
Producer Guri Mangat has given opportunities to dozens of young artistes to sing and hone their talent under the banner of his music company Golden Records.
Apart from this, he has also worked with many renowned singers from Punjab, including Manpreet Shergill, Balraj, Gurbaksh Shonki, Afsana Khan, Parminder Paras, Tarakjot, Deepak Dhillon, Sohan Shankar and Avi Mann.
Guri Mangat says that he wants to produce short films, TV serials, feature films and web series in the future. For this, the search for young talented film-TV artists is going on.
