The rise in the number of coronavirus cases is increasing day by day . After reporting 480 fresh covid cases in last 24 hrs , Governor of Punjab and Administrator UT Chandigarh held a meeting over the war room where they decided that there will be a weekend lockdown in Chandigarh starting 16 April 10 pm to till 5 am on April 19 (Monday). Essential services will be running as normal routine. They placed restrictions on the outdoor and indoor gatherings where 200 persons allowed for outdoor and 100 persons for indoor events.
According to Governer of Punjab Exams will not be suspended during this time and children can show their admit card and go the center.
